Fashion Friday: Week at a Glance!

Hello Gorgeous!  Week 2 into back-to-school and it has just dawned on me...I'm a work-at-home-mama!  Good-bye corporate world; hello pleasureville.  Yeah  right.  I use to take delight in working from home at my old job, but running a business from home full-time feels like I'm running a zoo more than anything else.  Thank goodness animal print is hot for Fall 2010, otherwise I'd be totally out of fashion and off trend. (Gasp!)

So I'm just going to cut to the chase.  Because the reality is Darling, you're not reading The Fashion Mommies to find out about our fabulous days doing biz with babies on our hips and kidlets grabbing at our ankles.  You want to know what our fav Stella & Dot pieces are, what we're wearing it with, and how we're wearing it.  I made this week a no-chunky-statement-necklace kind of week...very out of character for me.  So here's my wardrobe at a glance...

Monday's Look:  Lululemon Groove Pant, Jacket & Pumas 

The Jewels:  Fringe Hoop Earrings

Relaxed and casual as I run to pick up JC to and from school.  A whole lotta lounging, playing in the park, and scheduled work hours early in the morning, during naptime, and late at night.

Tuesday's Look:  Black jersey dress by Bobi, flat boots

The Jewels:  Josephine Cascading Earrings, Bardot Bracelet

Yes.  Mommies do get to dress up and go out - in style, on trend and, of course, comfortably, to meet up with other fab Stella & Dot stylists for our monthly sales meeting.

Wednesday's Look:  Grey leggings, white tank, sweater dress with military-inspired shoulder tabs, boots

The Jewels:  Chelsea Necklace in Hematite, Liv Charm Necklace, Soiree Earrings

I needed extreme comfort since I was running around town doing errands with the kids; but I also needed a clean, casual look as I met up with some clients.  Note: Military is tres hot this season!

Thursday's Look:  Yoga Pants, multiple layers of long sleeve tees

The Jewels:  Jasmine Filigree Earrings in gold, my own personal Charm 30" Necklace

This look is also referred lovingly to as: The Standard Pajamas Look.  This is what happens when we're sick and under the weather.  We still manage to rock our jewels...'cause we just never know what mom we might run into during drop-off and pick-up at school.

Today's Look:  Skinny jeans, fitted black cotton blouse, killer knee-high boots

The Jewels:  Petra Fringe Earrings

I need something comfy so that I can complete my errands quickly; but sexy and stylin' so that I can take it from day to night when I meet up with the family for dinner.
