Hot Off The Press!

Darling...have you heard?  Stella & Dot has been in the news lately.  Our gorgeous St. Tropez necklace and cuff are featured in Lucky Magazine for May 2010.  Who doesn't love a statement piece?  Oh so delicious!

And Get Gorgeous with Stella & Dot has partnered up with Jane from Torontoshopoholic.com, a fab blog and e-newsletter featuring all the ins-and-outs of Toronto's shopping scene - neighbourhood by neighbourhood!  Read the interview about why I love Stella & Dot - or click here on Torontoshopoholic.com, where you can also sign up for blog updates and newsletters.

Interview by Jane from Torontoshopoholic.com:

Stella & Dot might not be familiar to everyone. Where would we have seen this jewelery before?

Although Stella & Dot is exclusive to the direct selling model and you won't see our jewels at any retailers, we've received a lot of buzz in the press about our luxe couture-styled designs.

Many pieces from our collection have been featured in InStyle, Lucky, Woman's Day, O Magazine, Modern Bride - just to name a few.

As a matter of fact, our Sayulita Wood Statement Necklace was just featured in last month's issue of InStyle.

As well, celebrities like Debra Messing, Penelope Cruz, and Sara Ramirez have been seen sporting the latest glam pieces. And for those who follow The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris was and is a fan of Stella & Dot, wearing her jewels both on and off the show.

Aside from shopping for amazing jewelery why would someone want to host a Stella & Dot trunk show?

Well to start, Stella & Dot's hostess rewards are amazing! The average hostess receives over $250 in free jewelry and shops at 50% off. Just this past weekend, I had a trunk show and my hostess received over $450 in free jewelry and picked out all her favourite statement necklaces!

But aside from the rewards, Stella & Dot is truly modern, fresh, and fun; it's about socializing with girlfriends over a glass of wine while trying on delicious jewels from the collection.

As a matter of fact, I've even done lunch hour office parties for corporate clients.

Our fresh approach comes from the vision of Stella & Dot's CEO, Jessica Herrin. She created Stella & Dot as an answer to stale and outdated home-based selling businesses that were offering ho hum products and stuck on high pressured sales tactics.

We are not the usual "Tupperware" home party that everyone imagines.

Stylists are there to help style you and your guests with all the jewelry know-hows: from everyday simplicity, to trends in layering, to showing you how to wear versatile pieces, such as our La Coco Brooch Necklace.

What kind of woman would love Stella & Dot?

Stella & Dot has something for everyone and for all ages.

From the Lululemon fanatic to the shopping socialite: they are your neighbours, sisters, best friends, co-workers, and mother!

We cover all the bases.

As an example, I met up with a few Stella & Dot Stylists the other day, and one of the gals wore the Teardrop Necklace and Bella Chameleon Hoop Earrings with her Lululemon athletic wear. I wore my Byblos Crystal Chandelier Necklace with jeans and a tee; a statement piece that I've also worn with the closet standard LBD.

As a matter of fact, my mother is a huge fan of the Stella & Dot line and wears everything from the Jenna Pearl and Ribbon Necklace to the Natasha Bib!

This is what makes Stella & Dot is so unique since are driven by design, versatility, irresistibility, quality and affordability.

It is because of this that we appeal to women of all ages.
